Roy has more than forty years of experience leading and serving on boards of listed, unlisted and family companies. For seventeen years, he was the CEO of Southwire Co. ($6+BUS revenues and 6500+ employees) and still chairs it today. He is also founder and board chair of three social enterprises working on environmental concerns. Currently, Roy is an adjunct professor of Corporate Governance at IE Business School in Europe. In the last five years, he has also taught at UNC-Chapel Hill, Wake Forest University, Yale University and executive education programs at IE Business School.

Martin is the Director Training Services at CCL Academy. After qualifying as a chartered accountant, Martin has been designing and delivering financial services training programmes for more than 25 years. He is one of the world’s most experienced trainers for CISI qualifications where his exceptional abilities to keep his audience motivated and focused lead to exceptional success rates. Martin’s experience enables him to deliver a range of other memorable training programmes, particularly in the areas of governance, risk and compliance. He also designs and scripts first-class interactive eLearning products. Prior to joining CCL, Martin’s training experience was supplemented by spending two years at the CISI where he was an Associate Director and ran the publications division, the business development team and numerous train-the-trainer courses for CISI qualifications. Martin continues to be very active at the CISI, particularly authoring and updating CISI workbooks.

Maya leads J.P. Morgan Private Bank’s Wealth Advisory practice across the EMEA region. She advises families on strategies to plan for and support the harmonious transition of their family wealth and family businesses to the next generation. She focuses on developing family governance and communication strategies, next generation engagement and development, establishing family offices and in crafting philanthropy strategies. Maya has worked with families around the world especially the UK, Middle East and Asia. Prior to joining J.P. Morgan in 2018, Maya worked at Coutts & Co London for over a decade.

Professor Dr. Sabine Rau is an internationally renowned academics in the field of family businesses and has been advising family businesses for many years. She has taught and researched at INSEAD in France, the EBS European Business School in Germany, the WHU-Otto Beisheim School of Management in Germany and at King’s College in London. She is currently Visiting Professor at the University of Ottawa, Canada, and at ESMT (European School of Management and Technology) in Berlin. As founding director at ESMT, she helped establish the world's first institute for hidden champions. In her early career, Professor Rau has worked in her own family's business. Sabine Rau joined John Ward's Family Business Consulting Group in 2001. She has been a partner at PETER MAY Family Business Consulting since 2017. Her focal areas of work are in national and international ownership strategy and succession mandates. With great passion she also supports NextGens in developing their place in the family business and the entrepreneurial family.

Dr. Christiane Schloderer is the CEO of Growth Partners. She works with owners, boards and management to build scalable businesses. Projects include strategy setting for a family holding, board effectiveness for a JV company or driving strategic initiatives from the board through digitalization. Christiane is a board member at Rolaco Group, and a member of the Board of Trustees to the German International School in Abu Dhabi. ​ Prior, she was the CFO for Nokia Al Saudia. She also worked for Siemens and Nokia in corporate finance and turnaround management roles. She coaches digital business strategy at INSEAD. Dr. Christiane is a certified director from INSEAD Business School (IDP-C), holds a doctoral degree and an MBA equivalent business degree.
